Cooking (WIS)
The Cooking Skill is used to make meals which offer an array of bonuses to those who eat them.
Check
A Cooking Skill check takes 1-4 hours, depending on the type of meal being prepared. At the end of the time spent cooking, a Cooking check is made. The DC of the meal must be met or exceeded, or the meal will be ruined. Depending on how well the skill check was made, the quality of the meal is determined, which affects how much a meal can sell for. There are two types of meal, simple meals and complex meals. Simple meals take only an hour to prepare and make. Complex meals take 1d4 hours to prepare and cook, with certain higher tier dishes requiring more time. While it is not necessary, it is recommended that each meal is prepared with Herbs & Spices, as without them the check suffers a -2 penalty, as the meal might come out too bland. If the meal is prepared with Masterwork Herbs & Spices, there is a +2 bonus on the check. this is a auto corrected message

Flavors
Different people enjoy different flavors. A person may enjoy any number of flavors, but may only have one favorite flavor. If a character eats a meal of their favorite flavor, they become Sated for the next 8 hours. A player may roll 1d12 to determine a random flavor, if they do not decide one themselves.
Textures
In the culinary world food does not only have flavors and aromas, but also textures. Listed below are the basic textures of food someone might run into. A person may enjoy any number of textures, but may only have one favorite texture. If a character eats a meal of both their favorite flavor and texture, their Sated bonus is doubled for the next 8 hours. A player may roll 1d12 to determine a random texture, if they do not decide one themselves.
Try Again
No. If you fail a Cooking check you may not try again. You may attempt a new Cooking check if desired.
Special
Elves and half elves gain a +2 racial bonus on Cooking checks.
Synergy
If you have 5 or more ranks in a culinary oriented Profession, you gain a +2 bonus on Cooking checks.
Untrained
While meals may be prepared and made untrained, the special benefits granted by the meals can only be done by a trained cook. Without the proper feats, a character can only prepare meals from Animals, Plants, and Vermin.
